The Information and Communication Technology Association of Malawi (ICTAM) proudly celebrates 20 years of service and impact, marking an important milestone since its establishment on 13 February.
Over the past two decades, ICTAM has grown into a vibrant and influential professional body with over 1,000 members, playing a key role in shaping Malawi’s digital transformation and ICT profession.

Throughout the years, ICTAM has continued to evolve and strengthen its institutional framework through several important milestones, including:

- ✔️ A structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy
- ✔️ A robust Code of Ethics promoting professional integrity
- ✔️ A formal Electoral Code ensuring transparent leadership processes
- ✔️ A stronger and more visible brand as Malawi’s leading ICT professional body
Regional Collaboration
ICTAM is also proudly affiliated with Technology Information Confederation Africa (TICON Africa), connecting the association with ICT professional bodies across the continent and strengthening collaboration with peers in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, and beyond.
This regional partnership enhances knowledge sharing, innovation, and collective growth within Africa’s technology ecosystem.
